Drain Doctor NW is the largest and most established franchise within the national Drain Doctor network. With a solid reputation for professionalism, efficiency, and reliability, we provide high-quality drainage and plumbing solutions across a wide geographical area.

Operating from our depot in Kirkham, we serve a diverse customer base including residential, commercial, and industrial clients throughout Lancashire, Cumbria, and West Yorkshire. As our service area is large, early starts and regional travel are a key part of the role.

The Role



This is a hands-on and rewarding role where you will work as part of a skilled drainage operations team. You'll be operating high-specification jetting and vacuumation vehicles to carry out drainage maintenance and emergency work.

Your day will start at the depot, but most of your work will be mobile. You'll be attending to a variety of drainage issues on-site, ranging from routine maintenance to emergency blockages.

Typical Duties Include:



Attending domestic, commercial, and industrial sites to resolve drainage issues Using high-pressure jetting and vacuumation units to clear blockages and clean pipelines Responding to emergency call-outs and reactive maintenance needs Carrying out planned preventative maintenance and pipe cleansing work Recording and updating job details using a tablet or laptop Following safety procedures and representing the Drain Doctor brand with professionalism

What We're Looking For



We're seeking a motivated individual who is comfortable with physical work and able to work independently when needed. Customer service and professionalism are key, as you'll often be the face of our business on-site.

Essential Requirements:



Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence Maximum of 3 penalty points Physically fit and able to carry out manual tasks in all weather conditions Competent in using a tablet or laptop for job entry and data recording Willingness to travel within the North West and sometimes beyond

Desirable (but not essential):



Driver CPC Qualification CSCS Card (can be provided if not already held) Previous experience in drainage, waste management or a similar environment Minimum 2 years of driving experience

Working Hours
