We are a small team within an independent jewellery boutique, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Supervisor, ideally with a passion for jewellery and must have experience within a luxury retail environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a proven track record in sales management. As a Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations opening and closing the store when covering for management, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales performance. Your ability to communicate effectively and manage time efficiently will be crucial in fostering a motivated team atmosphere. Responsibilities
Supervise daily operations and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
Handling high value stock items
The position will include being a key holder, must be able to open & close the store on management days off and annual leave.
Lead and motivate the team to achieve sales targets and enhance customer satisfaction.
Be able to easily input repairs, dealing with our jewellery and watch estimates.
Show high literacy skills taking customer details and writing valuations.
Train new employees on company standards, sales techniques, and customer service practices.
Maintain an organised store environment, ensuring product displays are appealing and well-stocked.
Communicate effectively with team members to promote collaboration and resolve any issues that arise.
Implement strategies to improve sales performance while managing inventory levels effectively.
Conduct regular team meetings to discuss goals, share updates, and encourage open communication.
Requirements
Must have the ability to free dress diamond window displays and merchandise.
Knowledge in jewellery
Proven experience in retail management or a supervisory role within a sales environment.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop a team.
Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills, both verbal and written.
Proficient in time management with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Experience in luxury sales management with a focus on achieving targets.
Ability to manage multiple responsibilities while maintaining attention to detail.
A positive attitude with a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
