Are you passionate about helping young people build confidence and prepare for a brighter future? We're looking for an enthusiastic and supportive Skills Tutor to join our Jobs Growth Wales+ (JGW+) team on a temporary basis.

About the Role
As a Skills Tutor, you'll design and deliver engaging learning sessions and enrichment activities for young people aged 16-19 who are not currently in education, training, or employment (NEET). You'll help learners build essential skills, explore future career paths, and develop the confidence to move forward--whether into further education or the workplace.
Your key responsibilities will include: (please see attached for more details)
Delivering meaningful, creative, and accessible learning sessions
Supporting learner wellbeing and personal development
Running practical mini-projects, volunteering tasks, and enterprise activities
Travelling between local centres if required to support learners
Inspiring young people to believe in their potential

What We're Looking For
Experience teaching or delivering training in a learning environment
A recognised teaching or assessing qualification
GCSE (or equivalent) grade C or above in English and Maths
Strong IT skills and confident using Microsoft Office
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Creative, resilient, and passionate about learner development
Ability to motivate and engage young people
A track record of meeting targets and working independently as well as collaboratively
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable but not essential for this role. We are proud to support the use of Welsh in the workplace and encourage applications from Welsh speakers.
