Approved Electrician - Full-Time Permanent Position

Based in Sheffield - Nationwide Travel Required

Salary: 38,000 - 50,000 per year (DOE & Overtime Opportunities)

About the Role:

We're looking for a

Qualified and Approved Electrician

to join our established and expanding team. Based in Sheffield, the successful candidate will carry out electrical works across a varied and growing portfolio of commercial clients nationwide.

This is a hands-on role for someone with strong testing and inspection experience, who thrives in a reactive and dynamic environment. You'll carry out a mix of reactive maintenance, planned works, testing, and installations across various sites.

Key Responsibilities:

Emergency Lighting Testing & Installation Fire Alarm Testing & Installation EICRs (Fixed Wire Testing) & Associated Remedial Works Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) Maintenance & Installation on Temporary Construction Sites Inspection & Testing of Mobile Welfare Units EV Charger Installation & Maintenance High-Level Lighting Maintenance & Repair
NICEIC Testing Experience is Essential

Requirements:

Fully Qualified Electrician

18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671)

City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent (Testing & Inspection)

- Preferred Clean, Full UK Driving Licence Own Hand Tools & Battery Power Tools Strong experience in electrical testing and producing NICEIC certification Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and within a team

Desirable (but not essential):

IPAF, PASMA, CSCS/ECS Card First Aid at Work, Manual Handling Experience working with construction sites and mobile welfare units

Working Hours & Pay:

Full-Time:

40 hours/week

Regular

overtime available

at enhanced rates Salary:

38,000 - 50,000 per year
