We are seeking a skilled

Jig Maker

to join our expanding team. The primary focus of this role is the

fabrication, assembly, and adjustment of precision jigs and fixtures

to support our production processes. The ideal candidate will have

experience

in

jig making

, strong technical knowledge, and precision assembly skills. Welding and fabrication experience is essential, but only as part of building and assembling jigs and tooling.

Responsibilities:



Manufacture, assemble, and adjust jigs, fixtures, and tooling according to engineering drawings and specifications Ensure jigs and fixtures are precise, stable, and fit for purpose in production Perform welding and metal fabrication as part of jig construction (MIG welding required; TIG a bonus) Read and interpret technical drawings to build accurate jigs and assemblies Maintain and troubleshoot existing jigs and fixtures to ensure ongoing functionality Use hand tools, power tools, machinery, and measuring equipment safely and accurately Collaborate with engineering and production teams to develop new jigs and improve existing designs

Experience & Qualifications:



Proven experience as a jig maker, toolmaker, or similar precision fabrication role Experience with welding, metal fabrication, and assembly of jigs, fixtures, or tooling Knowledge of mechanical assembly and alignment processes Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications Welding or mechanical engineering qualifications desirable Experience with Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) is a bonus

Requirements:



Precision fabrication and assembly skills Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, machinery, and welding equipment Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail Ability to carry out accurate measurements and calculations Problem-solving mindset for jig setup and adjustments
