WHAT TO EXPECT
The Fleet & Business department is responsible for realising the sales potential of Jaguar and Land Rover within the premium and luxury corporate sectors of the UK market.
This includes development of core sales channels including National Key Accounts, Small & Medium Enterprises (SME), Contract Hire & Leasing, Public Sector, Subscription, Daily Rental and Diplomatic, which collectively account for over 35% of total JLR UK sales.
THE ROLE
Define and implement the Fleet & Business sales strategy for JLR in the UK market
Lead a large team, including national and field-based sales roles, and purchased service support for order to cash processes
Influence and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including Financial Services, Brand, Marketing & PR, Customer Experience, Sales Planning, Commercial, Finance, JLR Retailers, Leasing Industry, Residual Value influencers and Risk Setters
Commercially astute with a deep understanding of agency (direct) and wholesale sales models, Benefit in Kind taxation, Contract Hire & Leasing, competitive landscape and industry trends
Highly influential and credible with internal and external stakeholders, including Retailers, business leaders, leasing industry, Residual Value stakeholders and Fleet & Business media
Key Responsibilities
Lead the UK Fleet & Business team with clear direction and motivation to achieve consistently high performance
Plan and deliver sales objectives for all Fleet & Business channels
Alignment of stakeholders to programmes and initiatives that support Fleet & Business sales
Actively lead sales strategy and go to market plans for electrified and commercial model variants
Identify new business trends and opportunities that support Modern Luxury brand positioning and sales development (i.e. Subscription, Direct Sales, Omnichannel Sales, Localisation)
Work closely with Financial Services partners to ensure Contract Hire & Leasing potential is being realised, supported by strategic initiatives including second life leasing and retention of ex-contract JLR vehicles within Franchise
Optimise competitive positioning and channel profitability
Effectively manage third party partners and suppliers (i.e. Return on Investment Ltd, Lex Autolease, MVS)

WHAT YOU'LL NEED
The successful candidate will possess the following skills/qualifications:
Understanding of the UK Fleet & Business market, including company car fiscal policy, Contract Hire & Leasing, TCO
Sales & Marketing experience - essential
Business Acumen, a passion to achieve results, strong communication and integrity are essential attributes
A self-starter with the ability to prioritise activities to achieve objectives through seamless operational delivery
Strong analytical and presentation skills with the ability to influence and negotiate - essential
Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office - essential
