Job Summary:



Our Electrical and General Job Controller is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing electrical and general maintenance tasks across operations. This role ensures that all jobs are scheduled efficiently, resources are properly allocated, and work is completed according to safety, quality, and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:



1. Job Planning and Coordination



Schedule and assign electrical and general maintenance tasks to technicians and contractors. Review job requests and work orders, determine resource needs, and develop work schedules. Prioritize jobs based on urgency, impact, and resource availability.

2. Job Monitoring and Documentation



Monitor progress of work to ensure timely completion. Maintain accurate records of work orders, job status, parts used, and labour hours. Report on job performance, delays, and issues to management and clients.

3. Resource and Inventory Management



Coordinate the procurement of electrical parts, tools, and general maintenance supplies by working alongside our stores team. Ensure all tools and equipment are used and maintained properly.

5. Compliance and Safety



Ensure adherence to safety procedures and regulatory compliance. Conduct or participate in safety meetings, audits, and training. Generate Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS).

Requirements:



Qualifications:



Experience in maintenance coordination, job scheduling, or facilities management.

Experience:



3+ years in an industrial, commercial, or facility maintenance environment. Strong knowledge of electrical systems and general maintenance operations. Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) is a plus.

Skills:



Excellent organizational and planning abilities. Strong communication and leadership skills. Ability to multitask and work under pressure. Proficiency in MS Office and maintenance tracking software.

Pay: 28,000.00-32,000.00 per year
