Overview

We are seeking a talented and experienced Head Chef to lead our kitchen team and oversee all aspects of food production and preparation. Duties

Supervise and manage kitchen staff, ensuring efficient workflow and teamwork. Oversee all food production processes, ensuring adherence to recipes and presentation standards. Plan menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences, while maintaining cost-effectiveness. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high hygiene standards in the kitchen. Train and mentor kitchen staff in cooking techniques, food preparation, and presentation. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery. Monitor inventory levels, placing orders for supplies as necessary to maintain stock. Address any issues or complaints regarding food quality or service promptly.

Skills

Proven supervising experience in a kitchen environment. Strong background in food production and preparation techniques. Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire staff. Extensive culinary experience with a solid understanding of various cooking methods. Knowledge of hospitality principles and customer service excellence. Strong leadership capabilities to guide the kitchen team effectively. Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations. Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable, particularly in a fast-paced setting. Ability to serve dishes with attention to detail and presentation.
