Job Description

Role Overview The GP Hormone Specialist will be responsible for diagnosing, managing, and treating patients with hormonal imbalances, including testosterone deficiency, menopause, thyroid disorders, and adrenal dysfunction. The role involves working closely with patients to create personalised treatment plans using bioidentical hormone therapy (BHRT), lifestyle modifications, and integrative medical approaches. This is a flexible part-time role (10-15 hours per week), with the potential to increase hours based on performance and patient demand. Key Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive consultations and assessments to diagnose hormone-related conditions.

Prescribe and manage hormone replacement therapy (HRT), bioidentical hormone therapy (BHRT), and other treatments following UK medical guidelines.

Interpret hormone blood tests and functional medicine diagnostics to tailor treatment plans.

Provide ongoing patient care, monitoring progress, and adjusting treatment as needed.

Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including aesthetic practitioners, nutritionists, and wellness experts.

Ensure compliance with CQC regulations and best practices in patient care.

Educate patients on lifestyle, nutrition, and holistic approaches to hormone balance.

Stay updated on emerging research and advancements in hormone therapy.

Contribute to the growth of the clinic by building a strong patient base and expanding services. Requirements & Qualifications ? Qualified GP with full GMC registration and license to practice in the UK. ? Minimum 3+ years of experience in hormone therapy, functional medicine, or integrative healthcare. ? Experience in men's and women's hormone health, including menopause, perimenopause, testosterone replacement therapy (TRT), and thyroid conditions. ? Strong understanding of hormone blood testing, lab interpretation, and patient management. ? CQC-compliant and able to work within UK medical regulatory standards. ? Excellent communication and patient care skills with a holistic approach. ? Ability to work autonomously while being part of a growing team. ? Interest in private practice and high-earning potential, with a commitment to business growth and patient retention.
