Overview

We are seeking a skilled Joiner to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various aspects of joinery and construction, demonstrating expertise in fabrication and assembly. This role requires a keen attention to detail and the ability to work with both hand and power tools. As a Joiner, you will contribute to the creation of high-quality structures and fittings, ensuring that all work meets industry standards.

Duties

Fabricate and assemble wooden structures, fixtures, and fittings according to specifications. Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and finishing materials. Perform carpentry tasks including the installation of doors, windows, and cabinetry. Execute joinery tasks with precision to ensure structural integrity and aesthetic appeal. Engage in roofing activities as required, ensuring proper installation and maintenance. Conduct heavy lifting as necessary for transporting materials and equipment on-site. Assist with construction painting to enhance the appearance of finished products. Support plumbing tasks when needed, ensuring all installations are functional and compliant with regulations. Participate in masonry work as part of broader construction projects. Apply electrical experience when required for specific joinery tasks or installations.

Qualifications

Proven experience in joinery or a related field is essential. Strong skills in fabrication and assembly techniques are required. Proficiency with hand tools and power tools is necessary for effective performance in this role. Knowledge of carpentry principles is highly advantageous. Familiarity with roofing practices will be considered an asset. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely is essential for this position. Experience in construction painting is desirable but not mandatory. Basic plumbing knowledge is beneficial for assisting with various projects. Understanding of masonry techniques will enhance your suitability for this role. Electrical experience is a plus, contributing to versatility within the team.
