Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Joiner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry and joinery as well as an understanding of ICF construction, with the ability to assemble and fabricate various wooden and ICF structures and components. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the capability to work with both hand and power tools. The Joiner will be responsible for ensuring that all work is completed to a high standard, adhering to safety and building regulations. ICF knowledge is highly advantageous, ICF training can be provided to the right candidate with a willingness to learn widen their knowledge of modern methods of construction.

Duties

Assemble and fabricate wooden structures, including roofs, doors, windows, and furniture. Assemble ICF structures including houses, commercial buildings and multi story blocks. Perform joinery tasks with accuracy, ensuring all components fit together seamlessly. Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete tasks. Measure, cut, and shape wood materials according to specifications. Ensure all work is plumb and level, maintaining quality standards throughout the project. Carry out painting and finishing work as required. Assist in heavy lifting of materials and structures during assembly or installation. Collaborate with other tradespeople on-site to ensure project completion within deadlines.

Skills

Proficient in joinery techniques and carpentry skills. Proficient in ICF construction Experience with hand tools such as chisels, saws, hammers, and measuring tools. Familiarity with power tools including drills, sanders, and saws. Strong understanding of building and safety regulations. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Good communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 17.00-19.00 per hour
