Overview

We are seeking a skilled Joiner to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various aspects of joinery and construction, demonstrating proficiency in both fabrication and assembly. This role requires a hands-on approach to building and repairing structures, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.

Duties

Fabricate and assemble wooden structures, fittings, and fixtures according to specifications. Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various joinery tasks. Perform carpentry work, including the installation of doors, windows, and cabinetry. Execute roofing tasks as required, ensuring proper installation techniques are followed. Conduct heavy lifting and manoeuvring of materials as part of the construction process. Engage in construction painting to finish projects to a high standard. Assist with plumbing tasks related to joinery projects when necessary. Carry out masonry work as needed, contributing to overall project completion. Provide electrical support for installations that require basic electrical experience.

Skills

Proven experience in joinery with a strong understanding of fabrication and assembly techniques. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to the trade. Solid knowledge of carpentry principles and practices. Familiarity with roofing systems and installation methods. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently. Experience in construction painting for finishing touches on projects. Basic plumbing skills are advantageous for integrated projects. Understanding of masonry techniques is beneficial for comprehensive project execution. Electrical experience is a plus, enhancing versatility within the role.
