Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Joiner/ Kitchen Fitter/Window Fitters to join our team. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in carpentry and construction, with the ability to work on various projects, including residential and commercial builds. The Joiner will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and installing wooden structures and fixtures, ensuring high-quality workmanship in every task. We routinely have kitchens to install and experience is required in this type of joinery.

We also are seeking experienced fitters of UPVC and Aluminium windows and doors.

Duties

Assemble and install wooden structures such as doors, windows, and frameworks. Fabricate custom woodwork according to project specifications. Fit kitchens and associated appliances. Perform heavy lifting as required for transporting materials and equipment. Carry out electrical installations related to joinery work. Work on roofing projects, ensuring proper installation and safety measures are followed. Engage in masonry tasks as needed to support joinery projects. Collaborate with other tradespeople, including carpenters and electricians, to ensure cohesive project completion. Conduct painting and finishing work on completed joinery items for aesthetic appeal. Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times. Upvc door and window fitting Aluminium door and window fitting. Possibility of roofing work.

Skills

Proficiency in using power tools safely and effectively. Strong ability to assemble various wooden structures with precision. Experience in heavy lifting techniques to handle materials safely. Knowledge of electrical work related to joinery tasks is advantageous. Familiarity with roofing systems and installation practices. Basic masonry skills are a plus for integrated construction projects. Excellent carpentry skills with attention to detail in fabrication and installation processes. Ability to plumb fixtures accurately for proper alignment and functionality. Competence in painting techniques for finishing touches on woodwork.
