We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Joiner to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry and joinery, with experience in fabrication, assembly, and the use of hand and power tools. Duties

Fabricate and assemble wooden structures and components according to specifications Use hand tools and power tools to cut, shape, and install materials Construct frameworks for roofing, flooring, walls, and other structural elements Perform joinery tasks with precision to ensure durability and aesthetic appeal Assist with masonry, plumbing, electrical installations, and construction painting as required Conduct heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely during various stages of construction projects Follow safety protocols at all times to maintain a secure working environment Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently within deadlines Maintain a clean and organised work area throughout each shift

Skills

Proven experience in fabrication, assembly, carpentry, and joinery techniques Proficiency with hand tools such as saws, chisels, hammers, and screwdrivers Competence in operating power tools including drills, sanders, and saws Knowledge of roofing systems, masonry work, plumbing installations, electrical wiring, and construction painting is desirable Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently Strong understanding of health & safety regulations relevant to construction sites Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail Good communication skills to work effectively within a team environment
