Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled CAD Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in various CAD software and possess a keen eye for detail. As a CAD Technician, you will play a crucial role in the design and development of projects, creating accurate and detailed drawings that meet the specifications of our clients. Your expertise will contribute to the successful execution of projects across multiple disciplines.

Responsibilities

Develop and produce detailed CAD drawings and schematics using software such as AutoCAD & Microvellum Collaborate with architects and project managers to understand project requirements and translate them into technical drawings. Ensure all drawings are accurate, up-to-date, . Assist in the preparation of project documentation, including specifications, register's, reports & O&M Manuals. Quantifying materials/components & allocating to specific jobs. Conduct regular reviews of designs to identify potential issues or improvements. Maintain an organised library of drawings and project files for easy access by team members.

Requirements

Proficiency in CAD software - We use a programme called Microvellum which training and monitoring will be provided. Strong understanding of architect principles and the ability to interpret technical specifications. Strong knowledge of CNC capabilities required. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated. Excellent knowledge of furniture and joinery construction methods. Positive attitude to problem-solving and continuous improvement Previous experience in a similar role is preferred. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
