You will inspire and guide students through theoretical knowledge and practical skills, preparing them for successful careers in the construction industry. You may currently be working in a construction setting and looking for your first job in teaching.

Teaching experience is desirable, but we seek someone confident in sharing their expertise and knowledge with our students. We would support you in gaining a formal teaching qualification alongside your work with us.

Job Overview

Teaching:

Deliver engaging and effective lessons across a variety of curriculum disciplines.

Curriculum Development:

Lead the development of specific subjects within the curriculum, ensuring content is current and industry-relevant.

Research & Consultancy:

Engage in significant research and consultancy activities to enhance the academic and practical learning experience.

Course Verification & Leadership:

Oversee course verification processes, coordinate course teams, and provide leadership to ensure high education standards.

Impactful Role:

Play a crucial role in shaping the future of the related industry by mentoring and educating the next generation of skilled professionals.

Classroom Management:

To ensure student retention and achievement targets are met, provide a safe and healthy environment in which to work and learn, and ensure that adequate resources and materials are provided to enhance learning, thereby enriching the opportunity and experience of learners.

A recognised teaching qualification or be willing to obtain within 2 years of appointment A Bachelor/Master's degree in an relevant discipline
