About us:

We are a company specialised in organic, seasonal fresh food and drink. As well as an online grocery store, we are now opening a take-away organic juice bar serving also breakfast, lunch and snacks.

Job Overview:

We are seeking persons with 2-5 year's experience in food preparation in a fast-paced environment. They should also be extroverted persons with a warm approach and experience in customer-facing roles. The ideal candidates will have a passion for juices, smoothies and healthy food as well as be a good communicator with a friendly, calm persona.

Chefs please apply and managers too, just bear in mind that we are currently a small, specialist restaurant so most of the work will be hands-on. Looking to hearing from enthusiastic, competent persons.

Duties

:

Preparing juices from produce.

Preparing sandwiches, salads, wraps.

Preparing smoothies and bowls.

Dealing with customers and making recommendations and upselling if appropriate.

Ensuring a high level of food hygiene and cleaning.

Working by themselves and in a team

Requirements

:

Knowledgeable about healthy living, superfoods, cleanses (lifestyle)

Organised and positive.

Physically fit as job requires stamina and endurance.

Preferred

:

Proven experience working in a busy kitchen environment (2 years) and food safety.

Good time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently

Understanding of flavours of ingredients and combining them

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: 8.90-12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 45 - 50 per week
