About Us
We are a small, well-established electrical manufacturing company based in the UK, with a team of around 20 staff. We design and manufacture high-quality LV Switchgear for a loyal customer base and pride ourselves on our friendly, supportive working environment and excellent customer service.
Due to continued growth, we are looking for a Junior Account Manager to join our sales and office team.
The Role
This is a varied, hands-on role that would suit someone at the early stages of their career who is organised, customer-focused and keen to learn. You will work closely with the sales team and office manager, helping to build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers while supporting the day-to-day running of the office.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting the sales team in managing and developing relationships with existing customers
- Processing customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Handling customer enquiries via phone and email
- Assisting with planning workloads and coordinating production schedules
- Booking and arranging deliveries with couriers and transport companies
- Preparing PDF documentation to accompany product builds, including warranty documents and data sheets
- Providing general administrative and office support to the office manager
- Maintaining accurate records using internal systems
About You
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Well organised with good attention to detail
- Confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PDF creation/editing)
- Comfortable speaking to customers and colleagues at all levels
- Able to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a busy office environment
- A positive, proactive attitude and willingness to learn
Previous experience in an office, customer service, sales support or account management role would be beneficial, but not essential as full training will be provided.
