Key Responsibilities
Assist with processing invoices, expense claims, and purchase orders
Support month-end and year-end close processes
Maintain accurate financial records and assist with reconciliations
Prepare VAT returns and assist with HMRC submissions
Help maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with financial procedures
Liaise with suppliers, clients, and internal departments regarding finance-related queries
Support the Finance Manager with ad hoc tasks and reporting
Requirements
AAT Level 3 qualified or working towards a relevant accounting qualification (e.g. ACCA, CIMA)
Some prior experience in a finance or accounting role (internship or 6+ months desirable)
Good understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software (e.g. Xero or Sage)
Strong attention to detail and a proactive, problem-solving attitude
Excellent communication and organisational skills
