Job Description
Junior Accountant - Maldon - Permanent - Up to \xc2\xa322,000 per annum
We are recruiting on behalf of our local client based in Maldon. The successful applicant would be joining an experienced team who bring enthusiasm, a proactive approach and genuine interest in their clients. They combine a modern approach with old-fashioned values of care and responsibility, to help build a long-term relationship with clients and provide exceptional levels of care.
Duties:
- Recording all financial transactions daily
- Issuing payment invoices and receipts to clients
- Preparing and submitting periodic financial reports to management
- Performing account reconciliations
- Processing income statements, balance sheets and other management account reports, under the supervision of the Senior Accountant
- Reviewing expenditures of the company such as payroll and petty cash expenses
- Assisting with asset audits, as necessary
- Assisting with other accounting tasks, as assigned by a supervisor
Additional information:
- 28 days holiday with additional days given at Christmas
- Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm
