Junior Accounts Assistant
to join our crew
part time - 3 days a week
, on site at our buzzing city centre hotel.
Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, the key responsibilities will include (but are not limited to) the following:
Preparation of the Daily Business Report.
Daily reconciliation of cash and credit card receipts and related investigation of variances.
Preparation of weekly cash lodgement.
Maintaining petty cash ledger.
Reconciliation of deposits.
Managing Accounts Receivable ledger - issuing invoices, collecting and allocating payments.
Assisting in month end journals.
Performing any additional duties as assigned by the Financial Controller.
Requirements
1 - 2 years' experience in a similar role an advantage.
Experience with accountancy software essential.
Experience with POS system (e.g. Opera) an advantage, not a necessity.
Good computer skills.
Excellent communication skills essential.
Fluent written and spoken English.
