Summary
We are looking to recruit Junior Asset Finance Brokers to join our growing team. As a Junior Broker your main responsibility will be to generate new business by contacting potential clients through outbound calls, outlining Alpha Asset Finances' financial solutions to the clients, and introducing them to the benefits of asset finance and commercial loan funding.
Whilst learning the ropes and progressing through the role you will be working closely with your colleagues, the Sales Manager and Company Director's.
Key Duties include:
Generate a high level of new business by making outbound calls and building a successful rapport with potential new clients.
You will take a consultative approach, qualifying the customers' requirements to understand their business finance needs and link them to the suitability of Alpha Asset Finance's solutions on offer.
Read and understand company financials, via online software and manually reading business accounts, but don't worry, you will be trained on this.
Compose proposal documentation and funder applications, this will include document gathering from clients and suppliers. Full training and support will be given to ensure your proposal writing is of the highest quality.
Continually and consistently generate a pipeline of leads
Build and maintain your own client portfolio
The successful candidate must have charisma, charm and personality to build a strong telephone rapport. There will also be a sales process which must be followed, which is measured by internal KPI's and SLA's, therefore discipline and focus is also required. Our Junior Asset Finance Broker position is part of our 'Core Development' programme. This programme forms a long-term career strategy that our successful candidates will follow, with a view of developing into a fully-fledged finance broker within 12 months.
Our Core Development programme provides our Brokers with:
Director mentorship, development, training and support from a Finance Expert.
Working Closely with the Sales Manager, Company Directors, and your fellow colleagues.
Centre of Excellence clear path, with regular sign posted targets and objectives.
The Core Development programme is designed to progress the successful candidates at their pace, depending on the application of the candidate, rising stars have completed within 12 months.

Hours of work: Monday to Thursday: 8.30am - 4.30pm, Friday: 8.30am - 3.30pm (36.5 hours per week)
Work Location: Office Based, Grantham. Postcode NG31 6BH.
Ability to commute/relocate: Grantham - reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required). Please note Grantham train station and Bus station are both located within walking distance from our office.
Education: to GCSE level, but we also understand that qualifications aren't the be all and end all, we are looking for a person who is passionate to create their own success with the right personality.
Salary: 23,175.00, rising to 25,000.00 upon completion of 6 month probationary period,
plus uncapped commission structure
