Role Description



This is a full-time hybrid role based in London for a Junior Audio Visual Designer at FPOV. The Designer will be responsible for executing day-to-day design tasks, collaborating with clients and co-professionals, and contributing to the creative and collaborative design process.

You will work closely with our Content and technology staff around the world to produce first-class technical documentation and well-designed, easy-to-use and highly technical systems. You will have exceptional exposure to diverse projects and personal growth.

Qualifications & experience



1-3 years Consulting experience in AV, ICT and ELV systems design and documentation Bachelor Degree Qualifications in Electrical, Electronics, Telecoms Engineering as well as certifications in

BICSI RCDD, CCNA

or

AVIXA CTS

would be highly regarded. Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, MS Office and Adobe suite. Graduates can apply

Tasks & responsibilities



Design of AV & ICT systems covering Presentation and collaboration systems, Audio Systems for live performance and BGM, Commercial Control systems, Home Automation and GRMS, Video systems, including IPTV, digital signage, large LED video screens, and CCTV Basic security systems, including intruder alert, Intercom, and access control. IT / Comms systems, including structured cabling, GPON, Wi-Fi, and IT networks Prepare reverse briefs, concept reports, budget estimates, and communicate the design intent to the Client and project teams. Liaise with Architects, Interior Designers, project managers, Services Engineers, Quantity Surveyors, etc., coordinating and integrating all elements into the project. Prepare final AV & ICT detailed design, Tender drawings and specifications for Tender. Review cost estimates and participate in VE exercises with the project teams. Evaluate tender documents and issue recommendations for appointment Review Shop Drawings and Material Submittals and provide technical support to the Client. Create/ maintain technical documentation standard templates, including creating custom CAD blocks and BIM families for use across projects. Take responsibility for BIM execution across projects, including model sharing, collaboration model ingest and clash detection reviews.
