Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks, ensuring consistency and quality. Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, taking orders accurately and providing excellent service. Maintain cleanliness of the work area, including cleaning equipment, utensils, and customer seating areas. Follow food safety standards and hygiene regulations at all times. Handle cash transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system. Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth daily operations. Assist with food preparation tasks when required, such as assembling snacks or light meals. Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers efficiently without compromising quality.

Qualifications

Previous

barista experience

is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for suitable candidates. Knowledge of

food safety

standards and hygiene practices is desirable. Experience in

serving

customers with professionalism and courtesy. Basic

maths

skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Good

time management

skills to prioritise tasks during busy periods. Ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively with colleagues and customers. A positive attitude, reliability, and enthusiasm for delivering excellent customer service are essential.
