About the Company:



At CNG Fuels, we are pioneers in the sustainable energy sector with a mission to drive fleet emissions in the transportation industry to zero through our innovative solutions.

We construct, own, and manage our own network of state-of-the-art Bio-CNG public access refuelling stations, procuring our own 100% renewable Biomethane. Our Bio-CNG is derived entirely from biomethane extracted from waste materials such as food, animal, and wastewater. It undergoes independent verification and is sanctioned by the Department for Transport's Renewable Transport Fuel Obligation (RTFO).

Overview



The Junior Business Operations Coordinator supports the smooth and efficient running of day?to?day operations across the business. This role provides essential administrative, coordination, and data support to cross?functional teams, helping maintain key operational systems and ensuring accurate information flows. It's well suited to someone early in their operations career who enjoys problem solving, learning new processes, and bringing organisation to a fast?paced environment.

Key Responsibilities



Operational Coordination



Support the coordination of daily operational workflows to ensure tasks are completed accurately and on time. Assist with scheduling activities, including resource planning, team rotas, and basic stakeholder coordination. Help maintain clear communication channels across departments to support smooth operations.

Stock & Asset Management



Provide administrative support to the stocks team, including accurate data entry into stock handling systems. Help monitor stock movements and flag discrepancies for investigation. Assist with organising maintenance schedules for equipment, tools, and facilities to ensure assets remain safe and operational.

Compliance & Assurance



Maintain up?to?date records, documentation, and audit trails to support compliance activities. Follow established processes to ensure adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements. Support internal audits and corrective action tracking under the guidance of senior team members.

Data & Reporting



Produce clear, accurate reports using Excel, including basic formulas, pivot tables, and data visualisation. Help interpret operational data to highlight trends or issues. Provide data support to assist operational decision making.

Continuous Improvement



Identify simple inefficiencies and suggest improvements to enhance accuracy and productivity. Support the rollout of new systems, tools, and procedures. Work collaboratively with teams to embed consistent ways of working and operational best practice.
Carry out any other reasonable duties within the scope of the role, as required by the business.

Skills & Experience



Essential



Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and present information clearly. Basic understanding of stock handling or asset/maintenance processes (training provided). Good awareness of compliance processes and documentation requirements. Confident Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, conditional logic, charts). Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. Clear communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross?functional teams. Willingness to learn how operational systems integrate across functions.

Desirable



Experience in logistics, energy, construction, or infrastructure environments. Experience in an administrative, coordination, or operational support role. Awareness of continuous improvement principles. Familiarity with ERP or operational management systems

Pay: 25,000.00-27,000.00 per year
