As the business continues to expand, they are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented

Junior Buyer

to support the procurement function. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone early in their purchasing career to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic technical environment, with mentorship from an experienced team.

The Role

As a Junior Buyer, you will assist with the day-to-day purchasing of parts, components, and equipment needed to support generator supply, maintenance, and repair services.

Key responsibilities:

Support the purchasing of electrical and mechanical parts from approved suppliers. Track orders and ensure timely delivery to meet operational requirements. Communicate with suppliers to request quotes, confirm lead times, and resolve order discrepancies. Work closely with the service and logistics teams to maintain optimal stock levels. Assist in managing procurement records, databases, and supplier documentation. Contribute to cost-control efforts and continuous improvement within the procurement function.

What We're Looking For

Previous experience in a procurement, supply chain, or administrative support role (preferably in a technical or engineering setting). Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Good communication and teamwork abilities. Confidence working with suppliers and internal departments. Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Willingness to learn and grow within the role (training provided).
