We are looking for a motivated, organised, and resourceful Junior Buying & Sourcing Assistant to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is fluent in Mandarin or Cantonese, with strong English communication skills. You'll gain hands-on experience in product sourcing and procurement, supporting new product development and managing ongoing supplier relationships to ensure our operations run smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:



Research and identify new suppliers and manufacturers through reliable sourcing platforms and industry networks.

Communicate with potential suppliers in Mandarin or Cantonese to establish contact, gather key information, and assess suitability for new product sourcing.

Support the buying and procurement process by compiling supplier information, comparing products, and assisting with evaluations and reporting.

Maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers, resolving stock or delivery issues and ensuring timely fulfilment.

Track purchase orders and shipments, ensuring accurate documentation and timely updates on deliveries, invoices, and stock records.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of supplier and product information.

Coordinate with internal teams (in English) to provide accurate updates on product availability, lead times, and delivery schedules.

Provide support to other departments, such as Marketing or Operations, when required, assisting with product information, content preparation, or promotional coordination.

Monitor market trends and product innovations relevant to GT Omega.

Requirements:



Fluent in Mandarin or Cantonese, both spoken and written, for effective communication with suppliers.

Strong English skills for internal communication, reporting, and documentation.

Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and internal teams.

Highly organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.

Confident using business tools such as Microsoft Office or Google Workspace (Excel/Sheets, Word/Docs).

Comfortable using online communication platforms to coordinate with international suppliers and partners.

Analytical and proactive when identifying, evaluating, and negotiating with suppliers to ensure quality, reliability, and cost efficiency.

A positive, collaborative attitude and willingness to learn within a fast-paced environment.

A degree or relevant studies in business, marketing, supply chain, e-commerce or equivalent experience is desirable but not essential.
