Overview

We are seeking a motivated Junior CAD Designer to join our growing Bespoke Furniture company working under a project manager. The successful candidate will contribute to various projects, supporting senior designers in creating basic drawings for production team. This paid role is ideal for recent graduates or those looking to start their career in CAD design within the construction industry.

Duties

Assist in creating detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings using software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, MicroStation, SketchUp etc Support the preparation of construction documentation and presentation materials. Collaborate with project teams to ensure designs meet client requirements and industry standards. Review and modify existing CAD models to improve accuracy and efficiency. Organise and maintain CAD files, ensuring proper version control and documentation. Participate in project meetings to understand design objectives and provide technical input where necessary. Stay updated with current CAD software developments and industry best practices.

Qualifications

Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, MicroStation, SketchUp, NavisWorks, or SolidWorks is highly desirable but not a requirement. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail when preparing technical drawings. Good communication skills to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams. Enthusiasm for learning new software tools and industry standards.

Pay: 18,000.00-24,000.00 per year
