Role overview
We are seeking a junior CAD Designer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in creating internal layouts for self storage facilities. They will possess sound skills in CAD design and optimisation of 3D space, and will be trained to use our internal software system to extract accurate schedules of quantities for project pricing.
Duties
Utilisation of AutoCAD and Excel to create detailed project estimates. Conduct site measurements and assessments. Training will be provided if required. Collaborate with project managers to understand project requirements and ensure accurate cost projections. Assist in the development of bid proposals and tender submissions.
Experience
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Excel. Proficiency in using estimating software and tools is advantageous. Excellent analytical skills combined with a high level of creativity to optimise the use of space. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration with team members and clients. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
