Unitemps have partnered with a well-established and respected design and build contractor for marketing solutions; Exhibition Stands, Roadshows, Events, Showrooms and Commercial Interiors. Their office and manufacturing facility are based in the heart of Cheshire, a central location for servicing our clients across the UK and Europe. As a Junior Client Account manager the expectations will be high, but feel confident that you have a strong experienced team to offer support and guidance as you are new in to this role.

Summary:

The Junior Client Account Manager is responsible for supporting the creation and nurturing of long-term relationships with our clients. In this role, you should be an excellent communicator and supported by the Business Development Manager will be managing a complete portfolio of our clients. Your goal should be first and foremost to provide a fantastic quality of service, safeguarding clients and helping them meet their objectives, but also helping develop the commercial success of the business.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Developing strong, long-term relationships with assigned clients and ensuring they receive excellent customer service
  • Have discussions with clients to clarify needs, budgets and timescales.
  • Presenting Company credentials and taking design briefs from clients.
  • Briefing designers and estimators and agreeing actions and timescales.
  • Update and maintain company CRM system
  • Ensure the costing is accurate and that the design meets the brief and provides good value.
  • Attending client meetings and design presentations
  • Working with colleagues to help secure sales.
  • Ensure all documentation is completed, agreed and signed.
  • Understand why some projects don\'t proceed and address any lessons learned.
  • Attend handover meetings and introduce the client to the Project Manager.
  • Obtain feedback on our service after a project has been completed
  • Spotting and pursuing opportunities for further work with clients
  • Complete all account management administration
  • Compile client performance statistics and research data for the Business Development Manager.
  • Carrying out any other tasks as may be reasonably required.
Skills and experience
  • Creative with an interest in design
  • University Degree in Creative Design / Market / Business Admin (AND/OR)
Experience within a marketing department and/or experience of an account management or client facing role
  • Proactive management and customer service skills
  • Ability to develop strong working relationships at all levels
  • Willingness to make decisions and take responsibility
  • Willingness to learn
  • Good commercial awareness
  • Good team working skills and the ability to communicate at all levels
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Excellent presentation skills
