What you'll be doing...
Role purpose
The Junior Client Host supports the delivery of outstanding service experiences to clients and visitors on Levels 14 and 15, working closely with the Senior Client Host and wider teams. The role provides a warm, professional welcome and ensures client and visitor needs are met efficiently throughout their journey.
Key responsibilities
Operational skills and duties
Support the Senior Client Host in ensuring the smooth operation of client floors.
Prepare, restock and maintain client meeting rooms, communal areas and service points to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation at all times.
Welcome and greet clients and visitors courteously, ensuring they feel comfortable and attended to on arrival.
Liaise with Guest Services and catering teams to anticipate room setups, catering requirements and refreshment timings.
Set up and clear away catering, refreshments, and equipment as needed for meetings and events, following all food hygiene protocols and allergen guidance.
Attend briefings to understand meeting purposes and client requirements for the day.
Assist with monitoring and managing stocks of equipment, consumables and supplies, reporting any shortages promptly to the Senior Client Host.
Report faults, issues or client requests immediately and ensure follow-up, escalating to the Senior Client Host when required.
Adhere to all standard operating procedures and contribute to systems that support efficiency, waste reduction and sustainability on client floors.
Gather, record and share basic feedback from guests with the Senior Client Host to support service improvement.
Interpersonal skills and duties
Demonstrate professionalism and a positive attitude in all interactions with clients, colleagues and visitors.
Communicate clearly and courteously, both in person and in written records (where required).
Support and learn from colleagues, respond constructively to feedback and ask for guidance where unsure.
Participate actively in all relevant training, briefings and team meetings.
General skills and behaviours
Exhibit strong reliability, punctuality, adaptability and a willingness to learn.
Follow instructions and take initiative within defined boundaries to solve problems and support service excellence.
