We are looking for a Junior Content Creator to join our Earth Cycle team at The Woodhorn Group in the West Sussex countryside.

Earth Cycle is the consumer gardening division owned by The Woodhorn Group. With an eCommerce website supporting a growing number of orders it's essential that a solid flow of new gardening content is posted on the company's YouTube, Facebook and Instagram feeds to grow followers and engagement. In addition we're keen to explore new social media opportunities including TikTok Shop.

This is the perfect opportunity for an individual that is studying digital content creation at College or University and is looking for a part time job to gain experience whilst they study.

This opportunity allows for flexibility to work around studying. The role is for 1 day per week (8 hours), which can either be a Tuesday, Thursday or Friday each week, and is based in our main office in Oving. You will require a full UK driving licence and use of your own car as travel to our sites within the local area is required for this role.

We are looking for someone that:

Has a passion for gardening, sustainability or the outdoors.

Possesses strong written and visual storytelling skills.

Is confident using social media creatively (especially Instagram Reels & TikTok).

Is comfortable with photo and video editing tools such as Canva.

Is organised, proactive and eager to learn.

Experienced in creating content -- either professionally, personally or through studies.

Has basic knowledge of SEO or email marketing.

An eye for design and visual consistency.

Experienced in lifestyle content (desirable but not essential).

Duties include:

Create and schedule content for social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube Shorts).

Set up and manage a TikTok profile and shop.

Write short-form copy for posts.

Capture and edit photos and short videos -- from unboxing soil bags to showing planting tips.

Help manage the content calendar and track performance.

Stay on top of gardening trends, seasonal topics and social media ideas.

Support with campaigns, product launches and collaborations.

Engage with our online community responding to comments appropriately.
