The Role:
Recorra is looking for a talented Junior Content Creator to join our growing Marketing team and help build our brand. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, this role is a great opportunity for a budding content creator (either self-taught or through academic training) to develop a portfolio of copy and design work that helps get the UK to net zero.
Your
Background
:
0-2 years of experience in social media, marketing, advertising, media or a related field
Interest in sustainability practices and the environment
Educated to degree level preferable but not essential
What you'll do at Recorra:
Social media content creation
Shoot, edit, and design
creative content for our owned channels, including LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube
Track performance against KPIs
by monitoring engagement metrics on social media and thinking strategically about how to measurably improve performance across channels
Stay up to date
on the latest online trends, identifying opportunities to create relevant and timely content
General content creation
Create digital content for a range of internal Recorra platforms including
training videos and website assets
Create content for multi-channel campaigns
Support the Digital Marketing Manager in keeping our
website
up to date
Copywriting and copyediting
Write
strong copy that informs, engages, and inspires across a variety of corporate communications, including social media posts, emails, blogs, press releases, and our website
Use strong
copyediting
skills to ensure all written content is error-free, easy to understand, and consistent with brand guidelines
Distil complex information into bite-size pieces that a range of audiences can understand and enjoy
Learn and grow
Learn from and be supported by a team of energetic marketing professionals from diverse backgrounds
Collaborate on projects from across the business, serving clientele both big and small
