About the Role



We're looking for a Junior Content Creator to join the Heywoods team and support the launch and growth of Chapter, our new in-house creative brand.

Chapter has been created to elevate the way properties are marketed, producing high-quality photography, video, and digital content that helps homes and developments stand out and sell more effectively.

This role will support the creation of high-quality photography, video, and digital content used across property marketing, brand campaigns, and social channels.

You'll be reporting into the Social Media and Marketing Manager, working closely with the wider marketing and creative team to help deliver engaging, on-brand content that supports both internal and external marketing initiatives.

This role will be based on-site at the Heywoods office initially, with the majority of the role involving travelling to properties to capture content, before returning to the office to edit and prepare assets using structured systems and workflows. As the team and services grow, there may be opportunities for hybrid working.

What You'll Be Doing



You'll play a key role in delivering content across residential and development properties, as well as supporting wider marketing activity.

Key responsibilities include:



? Travelling to properties to capture photo and video content

? Filming professional property walkthrough videos

? Capturing HD bracketed photography for listings

? Editing and preparing assets back in the office for delivery

? Editing both short-form and longer-form video content

? Adding basic 2D motion graphics and animation templates to videos

? Capturing high-quality audio using wireless microphone systems

? Operating professional gimbals for smooth footage

? Supporting drone capture where required

? Exporting content for Rightmove, websites, social media, and campaigns

? Organising media using established file systems and workflows

Key Skills & Experience (Required)



? 3+ years professional experience using Adobe Creative Cloud

? Strong working knowledge of:

? Adobe Premiere Pro

? Adobe Photoshop

? Adobe Lightroom

? Ability to add basic 2D animation / motion graphic templates to videos

? Proficient working on Apple Mac systems and Mac-based creative workflows

? Experience capturing HD bracketed photography

? Confident filming property walkthrough videos

? Strong understanding of how to edit short, engaging video content

? Experience capturing high-quality audio using wireless microphone systems

? Comfortable operating professional gimbals

? Experience using a drone for property content (or actively working towards this)

Equipment & Technical Skills



? Experience using DJI gimbals or equivalent stabilisation systems

? Experience operating drones for video and photography

? Familiarity with Nikon and/or other mirrorless camera systems

? Strong understanding of camera settings, exposure, composition, and basic lighting

? Understanding of UGC-style content and how it supports modern digital marketing

Working Style & Mindset



? Comfortable working both on location and in-office

? Able to follow structured systems and workflows

? Comfortable working at pace and juggling multiple projects

? Organised, detail-focused, and professional on-site

Nice to Have (Not Essential)



? Experience with After Effects

? Stronger 2D animation or motion graphics capability

? CAA drone licence (or willingness to obtain one)

? Experience with social-first or platform-led content

Employment Details & Legal Requirements



? Full UK driving licence is essential

? Ability to travel to properties locally

? Full-time, permanent role

? 23 days annual leave + bank holidays, with the opportunity to accrue additional holiday with time served

Stage 1 - Application

Stage 2 - Edit Exercise



A short editing task using existing assets

Stage 3 - Paid Property Filming Exercise



? A paid, real-world filming exercise (day rate provided)

? Assessment-only, any content captured will not be used commercially

? Candidates will progress through each stage based on successful completion.
