We are currently recruiting for a number of full time Junior Conveyancing Assistants to work with our busy Conveyancing team based at our Elland office
This is an ideal entry level position, the successful candidates must demonstrate a positive "can do" attitude, together with a desire to learn and the ability to get the job done. You will understand the importance of putting the clients and quality of service first. You will be a team player able to work under supervision, possess excellent IT skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines.
Minimum of 5 CGSEs grade A-C including Maths and English.
The main responsibilities of the role will include:
Preparing correspondence and documents through audio-typing
Administration of client files, which will include daily filing and the opening, closing, storage and retrieval of files in accordance with the detailed procedures
Keeping filing up to date and ensure that files are tidy and Lexcel compliant
Preparing mail and enclosures for despatch
Dealing with general telephone enquiries
Keeping dictation up-to-date within agreed timescales and advise when outside of timescale
Ensuring that all client work is progressed expeditiously
At all times exercising high standards of client care in a professional and pleasant manner
Ensuring the confidentiality and security of all of the firm's and client documentation and information
General assistance and support in the department
