Nackiye is an Istanbul-based independent fashion brand, with modern womenswear created under a Mediterranean influence. Inspiration is taken from Istanbul's layered history and the laid-back rhythm of the Mediterranean. Designed with a strong focus on quality, the brand is positioned within the high-end segment, where attention to detail, refined construction, and timelessness are valued over trend. Every piece is carefully developed through collaboration with experienced makers, using well-sourced materials and thoughtful construction. The Role




As a Designer at Nackiye, you'll work closely with our founders and design team to develop seasonal collections and special projects. From concept research to final sample, you'll be involved in the full creative process, helping shape garments that speak to our signature aesthetic.

Responsibilities



Carries out competitor and market research, always looking at new trends, materials, products, techniques and colours that are aligned with the brand's creative direction Supports the creative direction of the brand by developing seasonal collections from concept to prototype Participates in fittings and follows up on design corrections and updates Takes part in photoshoot prep, styling, and lookbook organization Coordinates with production to ensure final design details are clearly documented and accurately handed off Maintains an organized archive of past collections and supports documentation of current ones Assists with visual research, mood boards, and sketch development for collection presentations Support the preparation and updating of tech sheets and sample request forms Helps with showroom setup and sample organization Collaborates with the Senior Designer to follow up on suppliers and sample progress

Qualifications



A degree in Fashion Design or a related field Previous experience in a contemporary or luxury fashion environment is a plus Understanding of different types of manufacturing processes and fabrics Excellent sketching and digital design skills A refined aesthetic eye and interest in storytelling through clothing Strong organizational skills and attention to detail A collaborative, proactive, and hands-on mindset Fluency in English (other languages welcome, but not required)

Please note that the company's registered office is located in London. This role is primarily remote, with occasional travel to Istanbul for short stays.
