Location:

In person at Chapel Court, 204 Fleetwood Road North, Thornton, FY5 4BJ

Hours of Work:

8.00am to 4.30pm, Monday-Friday

Salary:

30,000 - 32,000 per annum dependent upon experience

Overview

We are looking for a Junior Developer to expand our in-house development team. This role will involve closely working with our IT team to create, update & debug modules for our company Intranet and update our company PWA's and WordPress based website, along with connected online bookings.

You will have working experience with PHP / SQL / HTML and CSS and willing to learn other upcoming technologies. You must be comfortable communicating with others and flexible enough to work on multiple projects in an environment that can change quickly.

You should be meticulous in your work and always strive to complete a task without compromising on the quality of the delivery while maintaining approved deadlines.

Skills, experience and qualities you will need:

Good working knowledge of PHP and associated architecture Good working knowledge of WordPress Good working knowledge of MYSQL and associated tools Good working knowledge HTML / CSS

Duties and Responsibilities:

Working closely with the IT team Testing code and correcting errors Documenting development projects as they progress Work with other members of the company on occasional ad hoc projects

Advantageous Skills:

Good Working knowledge of jQuery / JavaScript and associated methods Experience with Bootstrap / Foundation frameworks Experience in back-end maintenance Knowledge of working with API's Developing Progressing Web Apps

Important Information

Applicants must be able to produce right to work documentation. Successful applicants will also be required to undertake a basic DBS check and DVLA licence check. A NDA will need to be signed due to the access rights to sensitive data.
