Metricell is on a mission to revolutionise connectivity. We partner with telecommunications companies to design, deliver, and manage wireless communication networks, all with a shared goal of achieving flawless network experiences.
For nearly twenty years, we have been at the forefront of network connectivity, providing innovative solutions that empower governments, network operators, and blue-chip businesses worldwide to become 'better connected'. More recently, we have pioneered the use of Artificial Intelligence to develop and enhance our tools.
About the role
We're looking for a Junior DevOps Engineer who is eager to apply their technical skills in a hands-on, in-house infrastructure environment. Unlike many roles focused heavily on cloud platforms, this position offers the opportunity to work directly with our own servers, systems, and networks, supporting both internal and customer-facing applications. You'll be responsible for monitoring systems, managing deployments, maintaining CI/CD pipelines, and contributing to the automation and orchestration of our infrastructure. Strong analytical skills are essential to diagnose issues, propose effective solutions, and continuously improve processes. You'll work independently and collaboratively with developers, QA, and operations teams to solve complex problems and ensure reliable systems.
We value excellent communication and collaboration skills, along with a willingness to stay up to date with emerging DevOps tools, technologies, and methodologies. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys taking ownership of infrastructure, building robust systems from the ground up, and is committed to continuous learning and professional development.
We envision the candidate to be a strong graduate, with a placement year completed and able to demonstrate their interest in DevOps with projects completed in their personal time. This role could also be perfect for someone who has some software development experience but can demonstrate their interest and ability in DevOps.
