About the Role\xe2\x80\xa6

We\'re searching for a passionate and talented Junior Digital Artist to join our Studios team and be part of the enchanting world of digital and 3D printing. As a Junior Digital Artist, you\'ll have the unique opportunity to support and learn from experienced professionals while contributing to the creation of captivating experiences at our world-renowned attractions.

As a Junior Digital Artist, your primary responsibility will be to assist in delivering top-notch digital and 3D printing services to the Studios team. You\'ll be mentored by our Digital R&D Assistant Manager, who will guide you in various aspects of the job. Your role will encompass a diverse range of tasks, including studio-based 3D printing, post-processing, digital design of props, and assisting with the broader digital workload, such as scanning and updating relevant trackers and teams. Key Objectives include:

  • Learn how to maintain the 3D printer suite and ensure it operates at its best performance.
  • Prepare and optimise files for 3D printing, ensuring high-quality output.
  • Handle post-processing tasks meticulously to achieve the desired level of finish for prints.
  • Utilise digital programs, such as Zbrush, Photoshop, and Blender, to support the digital team\'s workload.
  • Implement and maintain a robust tracking system for digital workflows, ensuring data is processed and stored accurately, retrievable, and backed up appropriately.
  • Effectively manage your daily workload, demonstrating strong organisational skills.
  • Play an active role in Research and Development (R&D) initiatives within the department, fostering creativity and innovation.
About You\xe2\x80\xa6
  • A recognised Artistic or Design-based qualification at degree level or equivalent, showcasing your creative talent and passion for art.
  • Experience and operational knowledge of 3D printers, preferably FDM or SLA.
  • Proficiency in 3D software, ideally Zbrush, Photoshop, and Blender, enabling you to bring your digital creations to life.
  • Post-production skills and an unwavering attention to detail, ensuring every piece of art meets our exacting standards.
  • A genuine and boundless enthusiasm for exploring new emerging digital techniques, staying ahead of the curve in this dynamic field.
  • Excellent communication skills and a calm manner, essential for collaborating effectively within a team environment.
  • A long-term interest in digital technology and innovation, as you\'ll be an integral part of creating cutting-edge experiences.
  • A team player attitude, embracing collaboration and contributing to our positive and supportive work culture.
