NEXGEN is a fast-growing eCommerce startup agency looking for a proactive and versatile E-Commerce & Digital Marketing Specialist to work directly alongside the Managing Director. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who thrives in a startup environment and is excited to take ownership of multiple areas of an online business from website management and email marketing to strategy and execution.
We're looking for someone who can think strategically, execute effectively, and is genuinely passionate about growing online brands and all things ecommerce.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement eCommerce strategies to drive online sales, enhance customer experience, and support business growth.
Manage and maintain Shopify storefronts, including product uploads, collections, homepage updates, and overall store upkeep.
Plan, build, and manage email marketing campaigns to engage customers and promote offers or product launches.
Create marketing assets (banners, email graphics, promotional visuals) using Canva or Adobe tools, aligned with brand identity.
Provide general administrative support to the MD, including email management, scheduling, and organising tasks or files.
Communicate with existing clients as needed responding to enquiries, providing updates, and ensuring a smooth experience.
Assist with launch campaigns, promotions, and day-to-day operations of the online business.
Collaborate closely with the MD and support team to prioritise projects, meet deadlines, and maintain momentum.
Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
Assist with stock management which includes pick, pack and shipping.
Experience
Proven experience in eCommerce management and/or digital marketing, ideally within the
fashion, health, beauty, or wellness
sectors
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and priorities independently
Proficiency in project management tools (e.g. Notion, Asana) to maintain structure and clarity across projects
Hands-on experience with email marketing platforms such as Klaviyo or Mailchimp, with a solid grasp of customer engagement best practices
Confident using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace for reporting, documentation, and internal communication
Comfortable working closely with leadership and contributing to both strategy and day-to-day operations
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including in client-facing situations
