Job Summary

This is a multi-disciplined, diverse role, which drawing on your areas of specialism could include (but is not limited to):

End to end involvement in projects from costing to commissioning. The design of instrumentation and control systems. Identification and selection of electrical equipment. Solving electrical design challenges. Hands on system testing and debugging. Working on multiple projects both independently and as part of a team.

Candidate requirements

Minimum:

Strong interest in electrical engineering. HNC/HND qualification and substantial work experience in electrical design / BEng in Electrical Engineering or similar. Organized, methodical, and confident working across multidisciplinary teams.An effective communicator. A keen interest in electrical design, machinery safety, instrumentation and control. Be highly motivated to learn and keen apply their knowledge to new areas. Excellent attention to detail. Have good practical skills.
Desired:

Developing and implementing control strategies using PLC's, DAQ systems. Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles. Experience of designing or working with safety systems. Interest in software development.
