Junior / Mid-Level Electronic Engineer

Location:

North Somerset ( On- Site)

Salary: 28,000- 40,000 + a TAX free bonus + Amazing Company Benefits

We are seeking a motivated Junior / Mid-Level Electronic Engineer to support the design and development of mixed-signal electronic systems. This role is ideal for someone with a solid foundation in PCB design who is looking to grow their skills while contributing to innovative R&D and production-focused projects.

What You'll Do

Assist in creating schematics and production-ready PCB layouts using

Altium Designer

. Support the development of high-density PCB designs incorporating analogue, digital, and RF elements. Help take designs from initial concepts through to manufactured PCBs. Contribute to test routines for board bring-up, validation, and troubleshooting. Work closely with software and mechanical engineers to define data, power, and mechanical interface requirements. Produce rapid-turnaround prototype boards, including basic hand-soldered R&D assemblies. Collaborate with senior engineers and receive mentorship to advance your technical capabilities.

What We're Looking For

Degree (or equivalent) in

Electronic Engineering

or a related discipline. Experience using

Altium Designer

for schematic capture and PCB layout. Understanding of analogue, digital, or RF design principles (hands-on experience highly beneficial). Knowledge of good PCB layout practices (signal integrity, noise reduction, impedance considerations). Enthusiasm for learning and developing skills in high-density mixed-signal and RF design. Ability to assist with prototype testing, debugging, and rework. Strong communication and documentation skills. Must be a

UK national

and eligible for security clearance.
