Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and Estimator to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in evaluating project costs, ensuring that all estimates are accurate and competitive.

This role is perfect for some-one with experience reading technical drawings with an interest in moving into a customer focused role.

Responsibilities

Prepare detailed cost estimates for projects based on technical drawings, specifications, and other relevant documents. Collaborate with manufacturing managers, engineers, and other team members to gather necessary information for estimates. Managing customer orders and updating the system with order requirements Implement cost control measures throughout the estimating process to maximise profitability. Review and revise estimates as necessary based on changes in project scope or specifications. Prepare and present estimates to clients, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.

Requirements

Proven experience as an Estimator in a steel manufacturing field is preferred. Preferred experience using manufacturing software / mrp Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey complex information. Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: 25,000.00-32,500.00 per year

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
