Veriflo is a fast-growing, dynamic company dedicated to delivering high-quality clean water services. We're looking for a motivated and hands-on

Junior Field Technician

to join our team and grow with us.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with practical experience in a related field (construction, plumbing, engineering, gas, telecoms, etc.) who's eager to develop their skills and gain deeper exposure to the clean water network.



Location: Primarily in and around M25 however not limited to this area / Head Office / Client Satellite Sites###

Key Responsibilities

You'll work closely with experienced technicians, project managers, and field supervisors to support a wide range of clean water operations, including:

Assisting with asset verification, DMA validation, and operability testing Supporting trunk main isolations, logger and probe deployments Helping with flow and pressure testing and learning optimisation techniques Setting up safe work sites and maintaining disinfection depots and equipment Using GIS plans and smart devices to complete risk assessments and site reports Supporting urgent or reactive fieldwork, often at short notice Managing stock and preparing vehicles and equipment for upcoming jobs

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Essential:

1-2 years of hands-on experience in a practical or technical role Full UK driving licence A proactive, safety-conscious, and reliable approach to work

Desirable:

Experience in the clean water industry Familiarity with valve operations and NRSWA Streetworks (Signing, Lighting & Guarding) Comfortable using smart devices and basic IT systems Knowledge of GIS tools such as ArcGIS A team player who communicates clearly and works well with others Someone who takes ownership of tasks and sees them through to completion Flexible and willing to work varied shifts, including nights when needed Methodical, detail-oriented, and eager to learn Committed to high standards of health, safety, and water quality
