A busy, specialist Private Medical Clinic in the City of London is looking to recruit a Junior Finance Assistant to join their friendly, enthusiastic team and support our Financial Manager.

This is a varied role and working alongside our existing Finance Manager within our greater administrative team will involve, but is not limited to:
- Assisting with raising and sending sales invoices
- Processing incoming payments and chasing any overdue invoices
- Ensuring purchase invoices are received and registered on our accounting system
- Liaising with medical insurance providers regarding patients' claims
- Updating patients' financial records
- Keeping track of utility company invoices and expenditure
- Daily reconciliation of bank transfer/card payments and receipts
- Equipment stock checks and database entry
- Preparing cleaners' hours monthly for payroll
- To provide back-up and support in the daily running of the clinic's administration department
The successful candidate will be: -
- Numerically strong with a keen interest in finance and have a good understanding of Excel
- Highly motivated, reliable and accurate
- Smartly presented and a good time-keeper
- Organised and determined to see tasks through to completion
- Capable of prioritising their workload whilst remaining calm and cheerful
This role operates in a highly sensitive environment, therefore tact and discretion when dealing with confidential information is of paramount importance.
Previous experience of working in a medical environment is not necessary.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9am - 5.30pm
