Junior Full Stack Developer

who will

specialise in backend, data and Python?powered AI while still contributing to our front?end and UX efforts

, keeping you a true all?rounder.

Why this role?

Full?stack breadth, backend depth

- Spend roughly 60?% of your time on backend/data/AI and 40?% building or refining UI components.

AI & data focus

- Work directly with data scientists to embed intelligent capabilities into production systems.

Mentorship & progression

- Pair with our current dev and senior engineers who will coach you into a confident backend engineer while strengthening your front?end chops.

Role Overview - What you'll do

Backend & APIs (primary focus)

- Design, code and test .NET microservices, REST/GraphQL endpoints and background jobs.

Data Engineering

- Build ETL pipelines, optimise database performance and support analytics dashboards.

AI Integration

- Prototype and productionise ML features (classification, forecasting, LLM integrations).

Front?End & UX (secondary focus)

- Implement reusable Razor/React/TypeScript components, wire up API calls and contribute to accessibility and responsive design.

Quality & Support

- Provide 1st?line investigation of production issues, write automated tests and improve CI/CD pipelines.

Collaboration

- Work in an agile squad with product, UI/UX, QA and DevOps colleagues.
Required Technical Skills

Core Skill

.NET?/?C#

- Solid foundation in back?end development, async programming, dependency injection.

Python

- Confident scripting plus exposure to data?science or ML libraries (pandas, scikit?learn, PyTorch or similar).

React & TypeScript

- Comfortable building interactive UIs, managing component state and consuming REST/GraphQL APIs.

HTML?/?CSS (Tailwind or CSS?in?JS)

- Responsive layout, accessibility basics.

SQL & Databases

- Schema design, query optimisation, familiarity with MS SQL?Server or PostgreSQL.

Version Control

- Git (GitHub or Azure Repos).

Testing & CI/CD

- Unit/integration testing, GitHub Actions or Azure Pipelines.

Desirable / Nice?to?Haves

Cloud services (Azure/AWS/GCP) - Functions, containers, managed databases. Docker & Kubernetes fundamentals. Experience calling LLM APIs or building prompt?engineering demos. Design systems or component libraries.
Soft Skills & Mindset

Natural problem?solver who enjoys alternating between back?of?the?stack challenges and visible UI polish. Data?driven thinker with curiosity about AI and analytics. Clear communicator comfortable explaining complex ideas to non?engineers. Eager to learn, experiment and share knowledge.

Salary & Benefits

22,000?-?24,000base (DOE) plus performance bonus.
