We are recruiting for a Junior Graphic Designer to join our Design team in Cribbs Causeway, Bristol. Working alongside the Design Lead and Senior Designers, you'll have some experience in both print and digital design mediums, creating engaging and unique designs for our clients and internal brand. You will be able to work on your own and as part of a team to deliver challenging projects using best practice and often to tight timescales.
You'll be passionate about design, interested in developing your skills and able to communicate with clients in different ways to understand their requirements.
Hybrid working - 2 days in the office and 3 days working from home
What you'll be responsible for:
Support the design team covering a range of design disciplines from print to digital, across small to large design projects. Including but not limited to: Social Media Graphics, Email Graphics, Gif's, Small Website Graphics, Desktop Backgrounds and Infographics.
Produce highly creative and conceptual designs in line with the design brief ensuring they meet the brief, specifications, and brand guidelines.
Contribute creative input when involved in new projects, concepts and proposals, supporting the team's strategic deliverables.
Ensure quality & execution of your work to meet the brief, project specifications and brand guidelines
Attend, virtual meetings and design briefings as required on time and in a professional manner. Ensuring clear understanding and communication of client requirement
A self-motivated individual that takes ownership of their work to ensure all work is delivered on deadline and of the highest calibre
Stay up to date with all creative technologies and industry trends, incorporating new techniques and tools into design work.
What you'll need:
Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or a related field
Well versed in the Adobe Creative Suite, with sound knowledge of print processes
Keen to learn User Experience, User Interface Design and/or Motion Design
A strong understanding of the full design process from concept to finalisation
A passionate team player, who is idea driven with the capability to deliver their concepts with pride and passion
Some experience in digital design and social media campaigns is desirable
A keen eye for creative layouts with a strong understanding of typography
Comfortable receiving creative critique, working under pressure and asking the team for assistance when needed
Experience working with brands and adhering to brand guidelines
A problem-solving mindset and be able to turn your hand to a variety of tasks
A keen eye for attention to detail
