We are currently seeking a creative and detail-focused Junior Graphic Designer to join our design team in Melton (Woodbridge), Suffolk. You'll help craft the visual look and feel of our beautifully produced books -- from lifestyle and photography titles to sponsored projects.

This is an entry-level design-led role with a strong visual and conceptual focus. You'll work closely with our Head of Design and design colleagues to develop design concepts, create layouts from template and prepare artwork for print, ensuring every title looks fresh, engaging and commercially appealing. Alongside this, you'll gain valuable technical experience supporting our reprographics manager with image processing and proofing -- learning how great design translates into high-quality print.

What you'll do

- Design and layout illustrated books from concept to final artwork

- Create visuals, mock-ups and presentation materials

- Prepare and finalise print-ready files, maintaining brand and print production standards

- Support with image editing, retouching and proofing as needed

- Keep up with book design trends and bring new ideas to the table

What we're looking for

- A graphic design qualification (preferably with book focus)

- Strong Adobe InDesign and Photoshop skills

- A great eye for layout, typography and image use

- A portfolio showing creativity, polish and attention to detail

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present your ideas effectively

- Organised, adaptable and happy to collaborate in a small, hands-on team
