Junior Graphics Assistant Trainee

to join our team.

You will be joining our team as a

Junior Graphics Assistant Trainee

. You will work in our graphics studio, producing and finishing various graphic elements that come together to support the exhibition and display builds that we produce. You will receive in-house training and work within a small team. This is a hands-on role that can include producing and installing graphics in various spaces across the UK and Europe.

Although no previous experience is required for this role, it's important to have an understanding for the media and role, and a passion to learn and support a well-established team.

Creativity is at the core.

Your key responsibilities will be as follows;

- Preparing artwork for print, mainly using existing templates

- Producing and installing printed materials using in-house equipment (printer, plotter, laminator etc.)

- Liaising with internal teams to meet their day-to-day graphic needs

- To ensure all outputs follow design and brand standards

- Carry our regular checks to maintain the quality and condition of graphics across the site

- To support the Graphic Designed and other exhibition tasks as needed

- To assist with the maintenance and upkeep of the Graphics Studio

- To travel to site's as required to complete Graphics installations

This role is varied multiskilled, offering diversity to your job. To succeed in this role you will need a strong eye for design and a creative mindset.

THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT MUST HAVE:

- Valid driving licence

- The ability to travel abroad if required

- No criminal convictions

- Recognised passion or experience in Graphic Design or general artistic flare

- Confident in using both a Mac and PC

- Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Indesign, Photoshop)

- Willingness to learn how to use large format print equipment and laminators

- Ability to manage your workload, organised and able to prioritise your tasks effectively

- A very strong attention to detail

JOB DETAILS

- Flexi-rota, minimum of 42.5 hour a week.

- Pay will be dependent on experience.

Please be aware that this job can be demanding. The successful candidate will be required to work paid overtime and/or weekends during the busy period of the year.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 24,500.00-28,000.00 per year
