We are currently seeking a Junior HR Advisor to join our dedicated team at the Dudley office on an initial 6 month fixed term contract. If you have previously worked in a HR capacity and enjoy working closely with colleagues to solve problems, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

The Role




As a Junior HR Advisor, you will support managers across the business and advise them on employee relations issues.


Key Responsibilities:

Ensure all new starters have a smooth transition by conducting onboarding calls at specified weeks Management of the onboarding tracker, ensuring any issues or concerns are raised with the appropriate Manager at that time Complying with Right to Work and Driver License internal processes as per legal obligations Registering and maintaining training tracker for new starts, which includes compliance with regulatory bodies Collation and submission of monthly sickness absence reports for payroll to ensure correct payments are processed Sickness tracking: receiving and uploading of documentation including self certificates, return to work documentation etc ensuring any outstanding documentation is chased through on a weekly basis Management of the company occupational health provider, ensuring consent forms are sent to colleagues, appointments are booked in a timely manner and confirmation of appointment letters sent. Invoices for appointments to be reviewed and either approved or disputed, on a monthly basis Assisting with note taking where required Supporting Senior HR Advisor with case management, as and when required Travel to to branches across the UK and Ireland, as and when required Managing HR mailbox on a daily basis, responding in a timely manner to all HR query requests Follow overpayment process as per overpayment procedures alongside finance department Support in the management of the colleague satisfaction survey Support with the pay review and bonus process Ensuring filing is up-to-date to meet with all audit requirements Responding to reference requests when required Maintenance of company policies and championing amongst colleagues Managing Long Service Awards, ensuring colleagues receive the required letters and vouchers Complete monthly CVC decks Ad hoc project work Any additional duties as required Assisting with payroll data submission and providing any additional requests for payments/ deductions to the UK Payroll team that may come into the HR Inbox

Requirements




Requirements:

Previous experience within HR Administration and/or HR Advisory Good understanding of HR Processes Full UK driving licence and own car CIPD level 3 Recognised HR qualification would be advantageous Knowledge of Irish Employment Law would be advantageous Good engaging and interaction skills coupled with a proactive attitude with a focus on execution Excellent communication and influencing skills coupled with a forward thinking approach A high level of professionalism, confidentiality and integrity PC Literate (use of email and Google/ Microsoft packages) Competencies will include + Acting Commercially + Delivering Results
